Smt. Bina Dikshit on her father

Smt. Bina Dikshit sur son père

Smt. Bina Dixit is the youngest of the four children of Yogi Ramsuratkumar in His Poorvashrama. She has always been greatly attached to her father and came to have His darshan whenever she could. After retirement she and her husband have purchased a house near the Ashram and have settled in Tiruvannamalai. Both of them have become an integral part of the Ashram.

Smt. Bina talked about her father in the breakfast hut. A summary is produced below:

…. Recollecting the time she spent with Bhagawan in 1984. Smt. Bina said that Mata Smt. Ram Ranjani Devi (Bhagawan's Purvashrama wife) Dixitji, son Manish (a.k.a. Murari) and herself had come from Bihar for Bhagawan's darshan. "Bhagawan allowed us to stay with Him at the Sannadhi Street residence and looked after us with so much love and care. At that time He repeatedly sang a Hindi devotional song to us.

"Ram Nam laddu, Gopal nam ghee Hari nam Mishri, Ghori ghori bi"
The meaning is "Ram name is Laddu (a popular Sweet) Gopal name is ghee, Hari's name is sugar; mix then and drink" sometimes He would sit near us and sing this at 4 A.M. while we would be half asleep.

At some other times, in the evenings as we sat with Him, He would sing.

"Bhajare Ram sukh dham
Tera puran ho sab kam
Kashi Jave Mathura Jave
Tirat pive dhamam
Jaye Himalay, Kare tapasya
Na Bhave Vishram"

"Sing Ram nam. It is the place of comfort. All your desires will be fulfi lled. You may go to Kashi, you may go to Mathura you may visit all the holy waters, you may go to the Himalayas, you may do Tapas but you will not get peace of mind. Chant the Name of Rama you will get everything."

One day the late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi had visited Tiruvannamalai addressing a meeting. Bhagawan told us to go to Ramanashram and follow the people and that we would reach the place of the meeting. All of us accordingly went to the meeting. Bhagawan had also come to the meeting.

When we returned to Sannadhi Streetwe found that Bhagawan had already returned. Bhagawan had locked the dog"Sai Baba" in the Sannadhi street house and the minute the door was opened Sai Baba barked angrily. Bhagawan laughingly said, "He is shouting at me for leaving him here" and all of us burst out laughing.

For a long time He was blessing Rajiv as "Chiranjeevi Rajiv Gandhi." Then He said "Some people seated this beggar in the front row but policemen directed Him to the rear; again some people brought Him to the front row but again the police pushed Him back." He repeated this several times laughingly. What would have been considered a shameful incident appeared as very amusing to Him!

Ma Devaki recollected that someone who was with Bhagawan at that time had narrated that Rajiv Gandhi came to Bhagawan, saluted Him and took His blessing, at the end of the meeting.

"We spent 5 days with Bhgawan. He used to send us to the Udipi Hotel for dinner. One day Bhagawan said that all of us would eat whatever was available in the house. Some food was brought to Bhagawan is a Tiffin carrier. When I saw it the thought occured to me that what was in the carrier would be sufficient for all of us if not at least for the children. Also we can manage with whatever is available." I started thinking that there might be some delicacies for the children. Could Bhagawan he unaware of this? He wished to correct me. He did not eat any of it, nor did he allow any of us to eat it, but gave everything to Sai Baba, who fully ate everything!

In 1983 my elder sister Maya had came to have darshan of Bhagawan. Her younger son's body used to turn blue whenever he cried. Bhagawan asked her, "You are unhappy whenever he cries, is it not?" Maya said, "Babuji, whenever he cries his entire body turns blue and that is why I am worried." Bhagawan said,
"Hereafter it will not be so. Father's Grace" from that day on the baby's body no longer turned blue when he cried.

On that occasion Maya showed her daughter to Bhagawan and said, a jyotish has predicted that she would live only for 12 years. Bhagawan immediately said, with emphasis "Who said she will live only for 12 years? This beggar blesses her. She will live to be a hundred." That child grew up, got married and is the mother of 2 children now!

Once Bhagawan took Maya and her children in a horse cart to Ramanashram. A devotee offered bananas to Bhagawan which He gave to Maya. To Maya's great distress a monkey snatched the fruits. To console her Bhagawan took her around Ramanashram Himself, and again took them back to Sannadhi Street in a horse cart for which He paid the fare.

At Sannadhi Street the path to the toilet contained some potholes one of which was rather large. Concerned that children might hurt themselves while running about. Bhagawan woke up Dixit at 4 A.M., gave him 2 bricks some broken pieces and asked him to fill the pothole with these. A very sleepy Dixit placed one stone and fell asleep there itself. Bhagawan who came there a little later gave Dixit a couple of hard pats on his back and asked him what was happening! Dixit wok up completely and filled the pothole properly. One leftover brick was presented by Bhagawan to Dixit who is preserving it as a holy relic to this day!

Bina said this blessing had enabled them to get a house adjoining the compound of the Ashram where they have now settled down.

Smt.

"Ram Nam laddu, Gopal nam ghee Hari nam Mishri, Ghori ghori bi"

"Bhajare Ram sukh dham
Tera puran ho sab kam
Kashi Jave Mathura Jave
Tirat pive dhamam
Jaye Himalay, Kare tapasya

Il a souhaité me corriger.

" Bhagavan a dit :
